How long does a home renovation take in Singapore?
It depends on scope. A BTO unit that mainly needs carpentry, painting and flooring usually moves faster than a resale flat that needs full hacking, rewiring and waterproofing. We give you a realistic schedule in writing after the on-site consultation, then keep you updated at every stage so you always know where the project stands.
Do I need HDB approval for my renovation?
Yes. Certain works such as hacking, electrical rewiring and floor finishes require HDB permits, and only a licensed renovation contractor can submit them. ArtiSpace is an HDB Licensed Renovation Contractor, so we handle the submissions and make sure the work stays within what is permitted.
What is actually included in your package price?
Our BTO, resale and condo bundles cover the core scope most homes need, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tiling, flooring and painting. Every home is different, so the final inclusions and quotation are confirmed at your free on-site consultation once we have measured the unit and understood what you want.
Can I renovate only part of my home?
Absolutely. Many of our clients start with the kitchen, the master bedroom or the bathrooms rather than the whole unit. Tell us your priorities and your budget and we will scope the work around them.
Do you help with renovation loans?
Yes. We guide you through the renovation loan process from application to approval, including the documentation and liaising with the bank, so financing is one less thing to manage while you are already planning a move.
Will I see the design before work starts?
Yes. We produce 3D visuals of your space so you can see the layout, finishes and lighting before anything is built. It is far easier to change a drawing than a fitted cabinet, so we encourage you to be picky at this stage.
Who will I be dealing with during the project?
You deal directly with our team rather than a call centre. That is the point of direct contractor pricing. The same people who design your home coordinate the trades and walk you through the handover.
